These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) govern all contractual relationships between Globe Schooler LLC (hereinafter “Globe Schooler” or “the Company”) and any individual or legal entity (hereinafter the “Client”) subscribing to one of its educational services, regardless of nationality or country of residence.
Any registration or subscription validation constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.
Article 1 – Purpose and Scope
These Terms define the rights and obligations of the parties in relation to the provision of educational services offered by Globe Schooler LLC, including but not limited to:
- The online British curriculum
- Academic support (tutoring)
- Language courses
- Additional educational modules
- The Globe Schooler educational application (Web App)
Globe Schooler LLC is a U.S. company operating from the United Arab Emirates. Its contact details are provided in the legal notice at the end of this document. The Company exclusively provides online education services to international families, primarily French-speaking.
Article 2 – Website Use
The website www.globeschooler.com is a showcase platform presenting the Company’s services. No financial transactions are carried out directly on the website; registrations and payments are completed according to the procedures described herein.
Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of website content is strictly prohibited and may result in civil and criminal liability.
Article 3 – Registration Process
Registration begins with a request submitted via the website, email, or instant messaging. Upon receipt, Globe Schooler provides the Client with a summary outlining the selected services, applicable pricing, and payment terms.
Registration becomes final upon fulfillment of both of the following conditions:
- Written confirmation from the Client (email or message)
- Receipt of the first payment or full payment, depending on the selected plan
Any written confirmation constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and commits the Client to the total amount of the subscribed service, regardless of the chosen payment method.
Hour Packages (individual, duo, trio, or group sessions)
- Packages are valid for three (3) months from the date of registration confirmation
- After this period, reserved time slots are no longer guaranteed
- The full package remains due even if all hours are not used
Article 4 – Access to Services and Client Obligations
All classes are conducted online at the agreed days and times. Educational materials, digital content, and personal spaces are strictly reserved for the registered student.
The Client agrees to:
- Not distribute, reproduce, record, or resell educational content in any form
- Not share login credentials with third parties
- Use the services in good faith and in compliance with the internal rules provided upon registration
Any serious breach may result in immediate termination without refund and may give rise to damages.
Article 5 – Equipment and Technical Responsibility
To access the services, the Client must have:
- A computer, tablet, or compatible device
- A stable internet connection
- A functional headset and microphone
Globe Schooler cannot be held responsible for technical issues related to the Client’s equipment or connection. Missed classes due to such issues are neither refunded nor guaranteed to be rescheduled.
Article 6 – Pricing and Payment Terms
6.1 – Annual British Curriculum
The British curriculum represents a firm commitment for the full academic year. Payment options include:
- Full payment before September 1st
- Quarterly payments (September 1st, December 1st, March 1st)
- Ten (10) monthly installments, due before the 5th of each month
Installment plans are a payment facility and do not alter the binding annual commitment. Stopping payments does not terminate the contract. In case of non-payment, the full remaining balance becomes immediately due.
Discounts
- Siblings: 10% discount for the second and third child
- Referral: 5% discount for both referrer and referred student (first month only)
Discounts are not cumulative and must be declared at registration.
6.2 – Non-Annual Services
Includes tutoring, language courses, workshops, and similar services.
- Hour packages must be used within three (3) months
- Unused hours are forfeited without refund or carryover
- For monthly plans: any started month is fully due
- Cancellation must be notified before the first day of the following month
6.3 – Payment Methods
Prices are provided before registration and confirmed by email. All prices are in euros (excluding applicable taxes).
Accepted methods:
- Bank transfer
- PayPal
- Stripe (credit/debit card payments)
Globe Schooler does not store banking data. Any bank or transaction fees are borne by the Client.
6.4 – Globe Schooler Web App
The educational application is available under the following plans:
- Launch offer: €9.99/month (12-month commitment)
- Standard offer: €14.90/month (12-month commitment)
- Annual plan: €99/year
Monthly payments are installments of an annual commitment and are not cancelable subscriptions. The total annual fee remains due.
Access is strictly personal. Content may evolve without entitlement to refunds.
Article 7 – Right of Withdrawal
The Client benefits from a seven (7) day withdrawal period, except where:
- Access to digital content has begun
- The Client has expressly waived this right
By accessing the platform, the Client acknowledges immediate delivery and waives the right of withdrawal in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83.

Article 8 – Refunds
Refunds are only granted under valid withdrawal conditions. Processing occurs within thirty (30) days.
Transaction fees remain at the Client’s expense.
No refunds are granted outside Articles 7 and 9.
Article 9 – Early Termination and Force Majeure
Contracts are non-cancellable except in the case of:
- Serious medical condition preventing participation (with supporting documentation)
In all other cases:
- No cancellation
- No refund
- Full payment remains due
Force majeure events may result in rescheduling or credit.
Article 10 – Absences
- No refunds for absences
- Missed sessions are forfeited
- No guaranteed make-up classes for group sessions
Article 11 – Non-Payment and Collection
- Immediate suspension of services
- Full balance due after 7 days
- Collection costs borne by the Client
Legal action may be initiated if necessary.
Article 12 – Personal Data
Data is processed for educational and administrative purposes only, in compliance with GDPR and COPPA.
Article 13 – Liability
Globe Schooler is not liable for:
- Force majeure
- Technical issues
- Network failures
Liability is limited to amounts paid in the previous 3 months.
Article 14 – Intellectual Property
All content is the exclusive property of Globe Schooler LLC. Unauthorized use constitutes infringement.
Article 15 – Governing Law and Disputes
- Governed by French law
- EU clients: Paris courts
- Non-EU clients: ICC arbitration (Paris)
Globe Schooler may also initiate proceedings in the Client’s country if necessary.
